Meet Our Team-Scott Underwood

Growing up I always knew I wanted to do something that served the public, something that made a difference in people’s day to day lives.  After serving in the military, I jumped between a handful of unfulfilling jobs.  I finally had to take stock in life, and decided it was pointless to continue to not do what I was passionate about.  Nothing about life is a promise and I knew I had to act and find my happiness. 

It was a long and difficult road to go from a part-time personal trainer to a gym owner, but it is one that I wouldn’t trade for the world.  Being able to bring fitness to Texas Corners is a dream come true.

Kiara Seymone Hayes

Kiara is Certified by National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Personal Trainer

A little about me,  my name is Kiara Seymone Hayes and I am thrilled to introduce myself to you! I could talk forever in detail about me, but I’ll tell you 3 things for now. 


1. You are my focus when I am in the gym with you....it’s all about YOU! Head to toe, inside and out. That being said, I am all about the little things such as ensuring good form, effort, and results. 


2. I aspire to be a mentor and holistic health practitioner.  I am focused on developing and learning the art of training on a larger phycological front along with the physical.  


3. I love to interact and have fun! Things get rough in our lives, we wouldn’t know good without it, but this space is safe for you to release that negative energy and ground yourself in the fun flow that is life.
 

I am excited to move with you. Welcome to the fam, see you at GRIT!

Sarah Swiat

 

My name is Sarah Swiat. I am a Certified Personal Trainer at Michigan GRIT in Texas Corners. Fitness has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up I played soccer, basketball, softball, and volleyball. These days you can find me hiking, running, weightlifting, and running obstacle course races. Personal training, to me, is so much more than programming workouts, checking form, and helping with nutrition. I strive to make meaningful and personal connections with each of my members. Being invited into someone's personal journey towards a happier, healthier lifestyle is one of the greatest honors. I have the privilege of not only seeing people reach their goals but being there through all the ups and downs that come along with the process.
